I come from an alcoholic family (father, mother, father of two parents of the mother and father), but I drink occasionally (5-8 times per year have been) and drunk once in my life (phew "Red coming soon!).

Yes, my parents are alcoholics or heavy (my mother) was very violent. Infact, all in the beverage side of my mother numb their feelings. My mother nearly died last year, but suddenly they basically got out of bed and stopped drinking. No one could believe.
