First, make sure that the battery is strong enough to cause the engine to start properly. If so, it is advisable to check the charging system to ensure that the CDI is not a new sewer fee .... .... Stator-rectifier controller ... etc. If everything is good, then the aftermarket CDI may have been under the assumption that the conditions for x amount Volt was designed to ignite starter and only the bare minimum to collect. If the damage in the long run? Hard to say, but if your in a position to original parts for this machine, which I think may be difficult to find than most of the search. Anyways ... We hope that Hepler and good luck.

The CDI is not the problem, the owner can packaging.
I had the same problem in a Chinese motorcycle, and worse, until it stops working, you take your head and just replace the brushes.

Good luck

"Can you change that could have advanced the ignition?" That's what it sounds like me. How about a plate of various circuit breakers? Turn Is the old one? Performance CDI black box to have "an advance electronic ignition?
